It has been a few months since I published the last blog. But it’s been a busy and hot Summer so far, that has continued into Autumn.
I entered my first curated exhibition this year and was pleased to have an image selected, as detailed on the Exhibitions Page. I also entered images into the ‘Photographing the British Isles’ competition and one of these was shortlisted in the Cities category in July.
Also at the end of July I had another image selected for a curated exhibition on Flora and Fauna held at a gallery in Halifax, at the end of August/beginning of September. Selection for exhibitions has continued, with more physical exhibitions in Sheffield, Bristol and Newhaven in November. The most recent being selected in a blind judging for exhibiting at Sussex Contemporary was very pleasing.
I am working on two personal books. One of the GHQ line in Surrey and its Pillboxes and other Defences. The other is on one of the local churches near where I live and its churchyard. This will include some of the Commonwealth Graves and possibly some images in infrared, including the Angel sculptures.
